TOC – European Transport Operators Unified Competences

All partners have completed the second phase of activities and have finalised the intellectual output n. 2 of the project, defining TOC – European Transport Operators Unified Competences.

The partners have worked on two main areas of the project in order to reach this result.

The transport operators competence map and the TOC Collection of Mobile Technologies have both been created and finalizedThe transport operators competence map lists the knowledge, skills and competences required by a transport operator to work in the market at European level and the collection of mobile technologies and applications allow to support transport operators in improving their personal and professional competences to carry out ordinary working situations.

As a result, the partners have defined the TOC– European Transport Operators Unified Competences’ framework that is a common and exhaustive framework that includes a detailed competence map, that  can be used by European transport operators or future entrepreneurs to develop the needed competences required by the labour market, and the TOC collection of mobile technologies and applications, that allow the users to develop further their knowledge and competences on transport operation by using innovative digital tools.

Both the competence map and the mobile applications and technology report are freely available online, on the project web site:

https://toc-project.eu/results/

The competence map contains 10 main competence areas useful for the transport sector and the related competences to be developed for European transport operators.

The areas included are the following:

Fiscal law

Business and financial management of the undertaking
